Hello world. My name is Sukanta Maikap. I work as a Staff Platform Engineer for a tier 1 bank in Australia during the day. At night, I put on a cape and fight crime I think about building products, small tools so to speak.
I have been thinking, dreaming, and reading about building “things” for over a decade now. I’ve started various projects and never finished them, or never found the courage to publish them for the world to see. So, here I am, finally trying to bring some accountability to this madness. If I manage to show up, hopefully, I’ll be able to follow through too!
forty2.co (any hitchhikers around?) is my attempt at giving my future (ad)ventures a home. I like to think of this as a personal incubator, a large storefront window if you will, to display my future experiments and see if anything sticks.
